Snowboarding Bits

We didn't really send Drill Bit careening down the hill, for those of you who were worried. If we had, I am quite certain my mother or sister would have stolen him from us!

We did, however, teach the older Bits to snowboard.

And by "we" I mean my Handsome Engineer. I can't snowboard. I would like to say it is because I haven't ever had the opportunity. And really, I haven't, but it is mostly because I am a big coward. (Horse galloping across an open field doesn't bother me, but send me sliding down a hill and my heart stops!)
My girls are not cowards, though.

Lil Bit did pretty good for her first time!

She had a lot of fun, too!

I think if we used a better snowboard that was her size, she would have done fantastic.

Bitty Bit loved it!

She was actually the first one to try--absolutely no fear!

And, as always, her balance was amazing.

I think she is just about ready for a black diamond hill.

She's totally black diamond potential. Your kids are super cute! I have skii'd ONE black diamond in my entire skiing career. I will NEVER do that again. Be still my beating heart.
